Ultramax Delivered to Eagle Bulk

Eagle Bulk has recently purchased Ultramax MV Southport Eagle. The 2013-built vessel was previously named JS Mississippi. Eagle Bulk Shipping reached an agreement to acquire six Crown-63 Ultramaxes, while an additional 3 ships are contingent upon final approval.

‘GE Shipping’ bought Supramax carrier

The Indian company GE Shipping has taken delivery of a Supramax carrier Jag Rohan. GE Shipping signed a contract with Kambara Kisen to buy the 52,450 dwt vessel in the first part of 2017. According to VesselsValue’s data, the Jag Rohan, previously known as Tenshou Maru, was purchased for USD 9 million. GE Shipping’s current fleet stands at 45 vessels.
